Flash Fiction Challenge

That moment twenty minutes before the deadline when you’ve fleshed out a busy thousand word limit just to realize only a hundred words of it are worth a damn. That moment when you sit back down and delete three-quarters of that direction you thought you were going and just to reign it in towards an entirely different one.

Why are deadlines relevant? Pressure. Stewing on something yourself and never showing anyone because there is no deadline to make it perfect when the truth is always that nothing is ever perfect. #FinishedNotPerfect is not just a saying, it’s a way of things.
